About this design
About the Remembrance Day candle with poppies lest we forget
A single lit candle glows at the center of this Remembrance Day card, ringed by soft golden light against a dark background of blurred red and amber bokeh.
Across the top, "Lest We Forget" is written in flowing gold script with long, curling flourishes, and "Remembrance Day" sits beneath it in a smaller, steadier serif. At the base, a cluster of red poppies with green leaves and a few unopened buds rises around the candle. The mood is quiet and reverent, more candlelit vigil than ceremony. It suits a Remembrance Day ecard sent to veterans, serving members, or family who have lost someone to war, and it works well as a group card from a school, club, or workplace. Sending it is a small, sincere way to honor those who served and show they haven't been forgotten.
